Product Details
TheFibaro Z-Wave Universal Sensoris a wireless module that makes it possible to improve the functionality of any sensor with a binary output by allowing it to communicate with the wireless Z-Wave network and the Z-Wave Gateway. Moreover, the module allows for wireless communication between the system and the DS18B20 temperature sensors. The device can serve up to two binary sensors and up to four DS18B20 temperature sensors.
The Fibaro Z-Wave Universal Sensormay be used whenever a wireless collection of data from wired sensors is required. Once additional safety housing has been installed, the device can also be used in areas with high humidity and high temperature.
TheFibaro Z-Wave Universal Sensor's main function is the integration of the wireless Z-Wave System with the existing wire-based and wireless alarm and measurement systems.
This product integrates with all Australian certified (921.42MHz) Z-Wave controllers including:
- Vera Edge/3/Lite
- Fibaro Home Controller 2/Lite
- DHS Z-Wave Universal Remote Controller

This installation must be done by a certified electrician in Australia and New Zealand.
Before engaging an electrician, check that they provide an electrical compliance certificate.
For warranty claim, you have to provide an installation compliance certificate from your electrician.
