We have managed to homogenise this to the form of a soft cream, which if applied in the sun and then rubbed down with a soft cloth will leave a clean nourished finish.

The formulation dates back to 1933 where a group of stockmen on the Birdsville Track were all buying new saddles and testing their own concoctions to care for the leather.
